MY FAVORITE FALL OUTFIT.
I was originally just wearing the blue sweater, but I stopped into my favorite local boutique (Kristi’s Clothing Boutique) and tried this plum sweater on over it for funsies, and it was essentially a match made in heaven. Let’s dive into my outfit details.
Hat: Target’s A New Day – Women’s Trench Faux Suede Fashion Hat in Camel
I have a smalllllll head. Most hats cover my eyes. This hat fits my head perfectly. It is NOT adjustable so I do not recommend to women that have a larger head. The color is great because it is more of a camel color so I am never afraid to wear it with different color ranges. It also has a black accent wrap that can tie in a nice black pant or sweater.
Navy Marled Sweater: Target’s Universal Thread – Women’s Multi Marl Blue Sweater
I got a size Medium. It is true to size. It is definitely more of a boxy sweater so I typically wear this sweater with a nice high-waisted jean and I usually French Tuck the sweater into the jean. This blue color is a tough color to do with a dark denim so I typically stick to a medium wash with this sweater. IN MY OPINION. The addition of the plum sweater on top makes the dark wash more possible. This sweater is $39.99 and a very nice layering piece!
Jeans: Express High Waisted Ripped Original Girlfriend Jeans
Out of this whole post, please go buy these jeans if you are curvy but want a more loose fitting jean that is flattering. My butt looks incredible in these jeans but they also have a great thin fit leg to them. I sized up in these and went with a 10 and they are by far my favorite jeans that I own right now. They are $25 right now!!!!!!!!!!!! Ugh so worth it. Just bought a 3rd pair folks.
Cardigan: Free People Irreplaceable Cardigan in Plum
I purchased this sweater at Kristis as mentioned above in a size SMALL. It definitely runs very large!! Size down fosho. The arms are nice and loose so you can toss a chambray button-up underneath or a thick sweater without bein constricting.
Quick note about the boutique I bought this at. It is an amazing boutique downtown Owatonna that caters to all ages. They have great brands too! Including Free People, Billabong, and Tribal! I loved this cardigan so much, I bought it in cream! It is definitely a more hefty priced piece of mine but you can pair this with anything.

Shoes: Sorel Women’s Joan of Arctic Wedge
LOVE THESE SHOES. IF YOU ARE AN OTOWN LOCAL: Stop down at Owatonna Shoe and they have a lot of great colors in this shoe and other styles of Sorel wedges. Men that may be reading this, buy your woman these boots. She will melt and look like a snack in these. ok back to the boots:
I have the 2016 version in a discontinued color of course BUT they are still amazing. They shrunk the heel height by .25 inch on the new version and added like 5 colors! I can wear these boots all day!! I purchased these in a size 8 and they are true to size. I can fit a thicker sock in these still and be comfortable. I have purchased another pair of Joan of Arctic wedges because I wear these so much.
