I have combination skin with texture, cystic acne, blue tones underneath my eyes, and uneven coloring. Lol at how much is wrong with my skin in “my opinion”

Just a quick FYI, it is 100% normal to not have baby butt clear skin. I have learned that you can never clear all of your skin issues in one shot, but you can definitely maintain it.

I have never been on any prescribed solutions for my skin but I have tried every store bought option under the sun. Ex: Proactiv, CeraVe, Neutrogena, First Aid Beauty, Clinique, Ole Henriksen, and many more.

I have been using my current regimen for about 2 months and my skin has genuinely never looked better. I am also a cheap ass BY THE WAY. So the following products are my favorite because they are worth the money and they genuinely have been working for my skin. My cystic acne has been non-existent. I get blemishes occasionally, but for the most part, it has improved!!! Woot woot.

Morning-AM

Step 1: Girl Wash Your Face. Lol. I cleanse my face with Philosophy Purity Cleanser.

I rinse my face with warm water, then cleanse my face with a soft wash rag and the cleanser.

Step 2: Serum Time. I apply a dime size amount of TruSkin Naturals Vitamin C Serum

High key desperately bought this on Amazon and its the most incredible nectar of the gods. It does not smell good but it frickin’ fixed my skin. I let it dry and then move to the next step.

Its only $20 and it lasts me 3 months at a time. My old serum cost $46 for half the amount. I also kind of like the packaging. It is a dropper style so I feel like a chemist when I use it. Its fine.

Step 3: Moisturize to prepare for a full face of makeup. I use a nickel sized amount of the OleHenriksen C-Rush Brightening Gel Creme.  I have been using this for about a year and I LOVE it. So worth the price and it smells like you got hit in the face with Florida Natural Orange juice.

It costs $44 for 1.7 oz. Steep but it lasts me about 4-5 months. This works really well for me underneath makeup which is another reason why I like it so much. It’s not as heavy as a normal cream deep moisturizer that I use at night, but feels light and hydrates my weird skin.

NIGHTY NIGHT- pm

Step 1: Take off the 6 layers of makeup with a generic brand makeup removing wipe. I use so many other products that the makeup wipe doesn’t seem to matter to me. As long as you don’t rely on JUST a makeup wipe at the end of the day. You should be golden. I use the Equate brand from Walmart. They are a dupe for the Garnier Refreshing wipe. It’s $3.48 for like a million wipes. SO legit.

Step 2: Cleanse again with the Philosophy Purity Cleanser again. The same way. Rinse with warm water, cleanse with soft rag and product, and rinse off with warm water.

Step 3 and maybe 4: SERUM. AGAIN. Same serum as above with the same amount. I apply this twice a day because it works so well.

ONCE A WEEK NOT every day, I will use the Blu-Care Micro Needle Roller after I apply this serum. It doesn’t hurt. It honestly feels kind of good. It has done WONDERS WITH HEALING MY ACNE SCARS. Its only $16!!!!!!!!!! Microdermabrasion facials can be up to $150!!!!!!!!

I apply the serum AGAIN after I roll.

Step 4: Apply Nickel sized amount of the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream. This product is definitely heavy. It is NOT oil free. It really heals all of my dry patches. I CANNOT wear this product during the day because my skin will get oily. This product also works great on your dry elbows in the winter! A jumbo size of this is only $36 and I have literally had it for a year……………………….. pretty legit.

Step 5: Apply the Ole Henriksen C-Rush Gel Creme on top of the moisturizer. I do this because it mixes well with the Ultra repair cream FOR ME. I am very pro Vitamin C for my skin because I truly think it adds a glam glow to my complexion. It could be the 8 coats of highlighter that gives me a glow but that’s okay. JB still likes me so I obviously glow.
